Mindful Monday Night

Mondays, 7–8:30pm | Open to all | Free

The Kootenay Shambhala Centre’s popular weekly drop-in Mindful Monday open house is great for newcomers and experienced meditators alike. It offers an introduction to Shambhala and meditation, as well as an opportunity to deepen meditation practice and build social connections.

A typical night’s schedule:

  • 7:00  Meditation instruction for newcomers and those who want a refresher
  • 7:00  Meditation practice—a mix of sitting and walking in a supportive group setting
  • 8:00  Discussion exploring mindfulness, kindness, and other aspects of wakeful life
  • 8:30  Tea and mingling with people who share your interest

We provide meditation cushions, benches and chairs. Come and go as you like. And bring your friends!
