Parenting as Path

Parenting as path is an online talk by Acharya David Schneider. He gives voice to the challenges of parenting while expressing the central role children and family can play within the Shambhala tradition. It is offered within the context of the online series called “growing Brave”
The talk is about 1 hour and will be followed by an overview of the ‘Rites of Passage” program. This concerns children from 8-11 years of age.
You are most welcome to attend tis evening just to partake of the online talk and to connect with other parents, ask questions of have input on our Sunday programs.

Lynn Dragone
Lynn Dragone has been practicing in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition for thirty years and has been a Tantric practitioner for ten years. She is certified as a meditation instructor in this tradition and has spent nine months as a temporary monastic at Gampo Abbey (with Pema Chodron). Lynn also teaches Shambhala Art, Big Brush Calligraphy and has a private practice in Nelson as a dance/movement therapist.Lynn is certified in Laban Movement Analysis.
